These Terms and Conditions apply to all boarding and grooming services provided by Murray Bridge Boarding Kennels, Cattery & Grooming ("MBBK", "we", "our", or "us") to the owner ("you" or "owner") of any dog or cat placed in our care.
By making a booking, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and accepted these Terms and Conditions.
2.1 Bookings can be made online, or via phone, email, or SMS.
2.2 You agree to provide accurate contact details, emergency contact details (which must be a different person to the account holder), veterinary details, and all relevant health and behavioural information for your pet.
2.3 You must notify us promptly of any changes to your contact details or your pet's health status prior to arrival.
3.1 Deposits are only required for Christmas bookings and will be 50% of the total booking value.
3.2 Deposit requirements and due dates will be advised at the time of booking.
3.3 Outstanding balances are payable at check-out unless otherwise agreed.
3.4 Additional charges may apply for:
4.1 Cancellations should be made as early as possible.
4.2 Christmas deposits are refundable up to two weeks prior to check-in.
4.3 No refund is provided for early collection once boarding has commenced.
5.1 Dogs must hold a current C5 vaccination certificate.
5.2 Cats must hold a current F3 vaccination certificate.
5.3 Vaccinations are recommended to be administered at least six weeks prior to commencement of boarding.
5.4 Kennel cough vaccination is highly recommended for all dogs.
5.5 Vaccination certificates must be supplied via email or SMS prior to check-in.
5.6 We reserve the right to refuse admission if vaccination requirements are not met.
6.1 Pets should be treated for fleas and intestinal worms prior to arrival.
6.2 If parasites are identified during boarding, treatment may be administered at the owner's expense.
7.1 Owners must disclose all known medical conditions, injuries, medications, allergies and behavioural concerns.

7.3 Failure to disclose relevant information may result in refusal of service or immediate collection of the pet.
8.1 Pets over ten years of age must provide a veterinary boarding readiness letter confirming the pet is medically suitable for boarding.
8.2 The letter should be issued within 30 days prior to boarding.
8.3 Acceptance of senior pets remains at the discretion of MBBK.
We reserve the right to refuse admission where:
10.1 In the event of illness or injury, we are authorised to seek veterinary treatment that we consider necessary for your pet's welfare.
10.2 We will make reasonable attempts to contact you or your emergency contact before treatment proceeds where circumstances permit.
10.3 Veterinary expenses incurred during boarding are the responsibility of the owner.
10.4 Where transport to a veterinary clinic is required, transport and labour charges may apply.
11.1 Medication must be supplied in original packaging with clear instructions.
11.2 We reserve the right to refuse administration of medication that lacks appropriate instructions.
11.3 Injectable medications are not accepted under any circumstances.
12.1 Quality food is provided as part of boarding.
12.2 Owners may provide their own food where preferred or medically required.
12.3 Owner-supplied food should be clearly labelled and portioned where practical.
13.1 For the safety and wellbeing of all animals, pets are housed, fed and exercised individually.
13.2 MBBK does not provide group play sessions or group feeding arrangements.
13.3 Individual care allows us to reduce stress and minimise the risk of injury or illness transmission.
Check-in and collection are available by appointment at any time during the day.
Sunday hours:
10:00am – 11:00am
4:00pm – 5:00pm
We are closed between these Sunday hours.
If another person is collecting your pet, you must advise us in advance and provide their name and contact details.
We may request identification before releasing your pet.
Where a pet remains uncollected for 7 days after the agreed collection date and reasonable attempts to contact the owner and/or emergency contact have failed, MBBK will continue to attempt to re-establish contact.
If no contact is made within 7 days, MBBK reserves the right to make alternative arrangements for the welfare of the animal, including transfer to an animal welfare organisation.
If contact is successfully re-established within 7 days, the owner will be given a further 7 days to arrange collection and/or settle any outstanding payments and make appropriate arrangements for the pet’s release.
If these requirements are not fulfilled within this additional 7-day period, MBBK reserves the right to proceed with transfer of the animal to an appropriate animal welfare organisation.
17.1 While every reasonable care is taken, boarding animals carries inherent risks including illness, stress, injury and unforeseen medical events.
17.2 MBBK will not be liable for illness, injury, loss or death except where required by law or where caused by negligence on our part.
17.3 Owners acknowledge and accept these inherent risks associated with boarding.
18.1 We may take photographs of pets during their stay for welfare records or promotional purposes.
18.2 Owners may request in writing that their pet not be included in promotional material.
Personal information collected during the booking process is used solely for the provision of services and management of your booking.
Information will not be sold or disclosed except where required by law or for veterinary treatment purposes.
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of South Australia.
