FAQ's

Do you offer grooming services?

Yes. We offer grooming services with or without a boarding stay. Grooming can be booked as a standalone service or added to a boarding stay prior to collection. All grooming is subject to coat condition, temperament, and availability. We reserve the right to refuse grooming if a pet is unsuitable for handling.

What animals do you accept for boarding?

We accept both dogs and cats. All pets must meet health, temperament, and vaccination requirements before acceptance.

What age must my pet be to board?

Pets must be at least 20 weeks old. Pets 15 years and over are not accepted. Pets over 10 years require veterinary clearance prior to boarding.

What vaccinations are required?

Dogs require a current C5 vaccination. Cats require a current F3 vaccination. Vaccination certificates must be provided before check-in. Kennel cough vaccination is recommended for dogs.

Can you accept cats for boarding?

Yes. Cats are accepted if they meet vaccination and health requirements. Cats with a history of cat flu or FIV cannot be accepted. All cats are housed individually.

Are pets ever housed together or shared?

No. All dogs and cats are housed, fed, and exercised individually. We do not provide shared stays, group play, or multi-pet housing.

Is food included?

Yes. Quality kennel food is provided. Owners may supply their own food if preferred or required for dietary or medical reasons. All food must be clearly labelled.

What should I bring?

You may bring your pet’s food, medications, and optional comfort items. We recommend limiting belongings as we cannot guarantee return of personal items.

How are pets cared for?

All pets are housed, fed, and exercised individually. We do not offer group play or shared housing. This ensures safety, hygiene, and individual care.

What are your check-in times?

Monday–Saturday: 8:30am–5:00pm by appointment.

Sunday: 10:00am–11:00am and 4:00pm–5:00pm. Closed between these times.

What happens if my pet becomes unwell?

We will seek veterinary treatment if required for your pet’s welfare and attempt to contact you or your emergency contact. All veterinary costs are the owner’s responsibility.

Do you administer medication?

Yes, we administer oral and topical medications supplied in original packaging with clear instructions. We do not accept injectable medications.

Can my pet be refused entry?

Yes. We may refuse boarding if a pet is unwell, aggressive, missing documentation, or does not meet vaccination or safety requirements.

What happens if my pet is not collected?

If a pet is not collected within 7 days and no contact is made, we will continue attempts to reach you. If no contact is made within 7 days, or if contact is made but no action is taken within a further 7 days, we may proceed with rehoming or transfer to an animal welfare organisation.
